What is the greatest underground restaurant in New York City?
So my best friend lives in NYC and claims that I don't have any "knowledge" when it comes to NYC restaurants that aren't shown on the Food Network. So I need ideas and suggestions for the most gutter and of course obnoxious restaurants in New York City from the "Hat" to any where in the "rotten apple." Thank you for your help WHEN I say underground i mean "authentidc" By the way, I dropped the crucialest gem at the McDonald's in Times Square, this was about 4 years ago but I would advise you to not use that bathroom till this day. The smell could still linger. Don't tell anyone but it was my gem that resonated the air of NY four years later that caused this http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070117/ap_on_re_us/nyc_gas_odor

My favorite restuarants in nyc are: Blue Chill on 51st in between 7th and 8th. It is a pan-asian place.. excellent food, drinks and service. My other fave is Victors cuban Cafe. The best authentic restuarant by far. It is on 52nd and 6th (i think). GREAT FOOD and MOJITOS....., it pretty rare that i find a restaurant that i love bc i am really hard to please..but these are excellent.
