What things should I bring on a five day trip to New York City?

By things I mean supplies, clothes, things to do. I'm going on a band trip, so two of the days will be spent on a bus. Things on my list so far include: iPod Phone Purse/ Wallet About six outfits. I'm looking for necessities and things to do on the bus mainly.
