Is the Times Square Ball for New Years held on display year round in New York City?

I know that the Times Square Ball is dropped on New Years from the One Times Square building on New Years for the countdown, but is it held on display in Times Square? Like if I went to New York City, could I see the Times Square Ball? Thanks!
